Reflecting on Loss and Purpose

Happy Sunday!

This week has been a tough one for me. I recently lost my second mom, who had been sick for some time.

While it’s a relief to know she’s no longer in pain, it’s heartbreaking to realize I’ll never see her again.

To add to this sadness, my father passed away on the same date 15 years ago, so my emotions have been all over the place.

Losing loved ones always makes me think about how we sometimes take life for granted.

Our mortality feels a lot more real, especially since I became a mom. More than ever, I’m reminded that we don’t have as much time as we think we do.

That’s why it’s so important to focus on what truly matters to our hearts and to take those baby steps to pursue our dreams. If not now, then when??

I don't want to sound morbid but... we truly don't know how long we have left so we might as well make the most of our time here.

I want to help even more and continue to have an impact in the world.

If you are a content creator and looking for some guidance this year, I am hosting a FREE Q&A Session on January 29th at 7pm EST. This is an opportunity for you to come and ask me ANY questions around content creation, and the business behind it.

That said, here are to tips to finally start the "thing" this year:

3x3: Three Tips for Trying Something New

  1. Start with Curiosity
Instead of pressuring yourself to be “great,” approach new ventures like a curious beginner. Ask yourself, “What’s the simplest first step I can take?” Whether it’s signing up for a class or watching a tutorial, just begin.
  2. 2. Celebrate The Small Wins
Break down your new skill or project into bite-sized milestones. Each mini-achievement adds up and helps you stay motivated. Don’t overcomplicate. If you want to learn guitar, start by practicing one simple chord. If you’re thinking about writing a book, start with a single paragraph. Tiny steps keep you moving without burning out.
  3. Tell a Friend (or Two)
Share your goals with trusted friends. It’s amazing how sharing your dreams can make you feel more committed. And it’s way more fun to celebrate milestones together and keep each other accountable.

REMINDER: Elevate & Align: A Productivity + Purpose Workshop

On that note, I’d love for you to join me on January 31 at 6 PM EST for a relaxed goal-setting workshop.

We’ll spend about an hour talking goals, sharing ideas, and supporting each other’s progress.

Nothing fancy, just a friendly space to show up, brainstorm, and stay accountable.

January New Book

We’re reading What Got You Here Won’t Get You There by Marshall Goldsmith this month.

I’m finding that it really highlights how we grow (or sometimes stay stuck) due to habits we’ve picked up along the way.

It’s a good reminder to keep evolving, especially when life’s fragile moments nudge us to appreciate the present.

Let’s make 2025 the year we finally follow through on what matters most.

Weekly Reflection

The question I am asking myself this week ❓

How can I honor the memory of those I’ve lost by living more fully today?

This week's quote that made me think 💬

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.” – Albert Camus

Stay encouraged!

This Week’s Quote ☕️ “The way you do anything is the way you do everything.” — Martha Beck This Week’s Reflection:Sharing your dreams is easy. Living them is hard. People trust your message only if they see you model it. Consistency in your actions is what makes you magnetic, not just your words. You don’t need to be perfect, you need to be consistent. Behind the Scenes:I teach consistency because I practice consistency, even when nobody’s watching. Your Next Step:Pick one area where you...

This Week’s Quote ☕️ “You don’t rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems.” — James Clear This Week’s Reflection:Motivation will always abandon you. Systems are what keep your progress going when your mood dips. Build habits that support your dreams on autopilot, and you’ll thrive through every season. Behind the Scenes:I batch my videos on Wednesdays so I never go silent, even on chaotic weeks. That habit now runs on autopilot. Your Next Step:Audit your habits:...

This Week’s Quote ☕️ “Done is better than perfect.” — Sheryl Sandberg This Week’s Reflection:Perfect is the enemy of profitable. Launching messy is how you actually learn and grow. Stop letting fear of judgment freeze you — progress stacks much faster than perfection ever could. Behind the Scenes:One “imperfect” YouTube video I almost didn’t post booked me 3 coaching calls because it was raw and honest. Your Next Step:Post something this week before you think it’s “ready", and reply to this...
